What happens after I book?
No guesswork. You'll know exactly what's coming.
Telehealth should feel as clear as walking into a clinic. Here is every step from the moment you click Book.
1. Confirmation within minutes
You'll get an email and SMS confirming your booking, with your consult time and a secure link to your patient dashboard.
2. Short intake form
A brief structured questionnaire covering symptoms, history and medications. It takes about 3 minutes and prepares your clinician.
3. Nurse triage if needed
If anything in your intake suggests urgency, a registered nurse will call you first to screen for red flags before the GP consult.
4. Secure video consult
Your AHPRA-registered GP joins by encrypted video. Average consult length is 15 minutes. No app download required.
5. Care plan in your dashboard
Scripts, certificates, referrals and follow-up notes are issued (where clinically appropriate) and stored securely in your account.
6. Follow-up if required
If results, escalation or in-person care are needed, our team coordinates the next step with you — we don't leave loose ends.
Response expectations
Routine bookings are confirmed in minutes. Same-day consults are typically available within business hours. Clinical follow-up messages are answered within one business day. Nexus Health is not an emergency service — if this is a medical emergency, call 000.

Why employers choose Nexus Health
Built for HR, risk and finance teams who ask hard questions.
Australian-registered clinicians, verified at source
Every GP and nurse is AHPRA-checked and credentialled before they see a single staff member. No offshore consults.
Documented clinical governance
Published scope of practice, nurse triage red-flag rules, incident review and a complaints pathway your risk team can audit.
Pilot-first, contract-second
We scope a pilot with you, agree success metrics in writing, and only move to a longer commitment if it works for your team.
Reporting your finance team trusts
Quarterly utilisation, absenteeism impact and wellbeing engagement — anonymised, aggregate, and benchmarked honestly.
Privacy under Australian law
Data handled under the Privacy Act 1988 and APPs. Sub-processors are disclosed publicly on our privacy page.
A real human account manager
One named contact for onboarding, escalation and quarterly review — not a ticket queue.
Practitioner standards
Every clinician is AHPRA-registered, credentialled and peer-reviewed.
Red-flag triage
Nurse triage screens for serious symptoms before any consultation begins.
Scope of practice
We don't prescribe controlled drugs, ADHD medication, or treat emergencies.
Privacy by design
Data handled under the Australian Privacy Act and My Health Records Act.
